Specialist Exercise Rehabilitation and Chronic Disease Management
As Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP), we hold a four-year equivalent university degree and specialise in exercise and movement for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.
AEPs provide support for the following (but not limited to) conditions:
- Obesity
- Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)
- Diabetes
- Osteoporosis
- Arthritis
- Mental Health Conditions
- Cancer and Cancer Treatment Recovery
- Chronic Pain and Fatigue
- Post-surgical Rehabilitation (e.g. ACL Reconstruction, Hip/Knee Replacement)
- Neuromuscular Exercise Therapy (e.g. Multiple sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Spinal Cord Injury)
- Pulmonary Diseases

Catherine Young – Principal Exercise Physiologist
BESS (ClinExP) (Hons1), BBehavSc(Psych), AEP, AES, ESSAM
Catherine graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2017. Prior to this, she graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, majoring in Psychology in 2013.
As an AEP, Catherine has a particular interest in the areas of Cancer, Mental Health and Disability. Along with these areas, she also has experience with Cardiac, Musculoskeletal and Metabolic conditions.
Rebecca Bray – Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Rebecca graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2015 and with a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Physiology in 2016.
Rebecca has a particular interest in mental health and osteoporosis as well as having experience in Cardiac, Musculoskeletal and Metabolic conditions.
