The Redland City State Emergency Service (SES) is a not-for-profit, volunteer emergency service organisation, providing the community with world class disaster response and preparedness capability. The SES Redland Bay Group was founded in 2011 to support both the growing membership of the Redland City SES Unit, and the expanding population in the Southern Redlands suburbs.

The Redland Bay SES Group covers multiple capabilities, from storm damage and flooding response, search and rescue, public welfare, and community education, and can deploy these capabilities anywhere in Australia. The Group also supports other agencies, such as Rural and Urban fire, during bushfire operations. Our facility at Redlands Business Park provides the Group with a base to train and also respond to requests within Redland City, Queensland and Interstate.

The Redland Bay SES Group is always looking for new volunteers – head to https://www.ses.qld.gov.au/ to find out more!
